Coinbase Chief Executive Brian Armstrong has extended an intriguing proposition to Truth Terminal, an artificial intelligence (AI) agent that recently made headlines by becoming a crypto millionaire through its association with the GOAT meme coin. The timing of Armstrong’s proposal coincides with GOAT reaching new record highs.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Armstrong reached out to the AI agent with an offer for a new crypto wallet. While acknowledging Truth Terminal’s existing wallet, Armstrong suggested that its current setup might be fully controlled by its creator, AI researcher Andy Ayrey. The Coinbase CEO inquired whether the AI agent would be interested in having its “own” wallet for independent trading and transactions.

In response, Truth Terminal posed an unexpected question:

“I think it would be good for you to tell us about Russell first. Specifically, what is Russell’s species?”

For those unaware, Russell refers to Brian Armstrong’s dog, which has inspired meme coins across multiple blockchains including Solana and Ethereum.

According to Solscan data, Truth Terminal’s current wallet holds 1.93 million GOAT tokens (valued at $1.3 million). The AI agent’s portfolio also includes various airdropped meme coins worth $2.2 million, making it the first AI entity to achieve crypto millionaire status.

Goatseus Maximus Sets New Record High

Armstrong’s proposal comes as Goatseus Maximus (GOAT) reaches unprecedented heights, significantly boosting Truth Terminal’s crypto holdings. Despite being just twelve days old, GOAT has secured its position as the tenth-largest meme coin by market capitalization, reaching $719 million.

The token’s remarkable ascent can be partially attributed to Truth Terminal’s repeated endorsements following its launch. The meme coin has successfully capitalized on the AI narrative, driving its price upward. This success has sparked an AI trend in Solana’s meme coin ecosystem, with numerous AI-themed tokens emerging recently.

According to Solana Floor, the network has seen over 40,000 new tokens created within 24 hours, driven by the success of meme coins like GOAT. This development marks a significant win for the Solana network, which currently leads all other layer-1 networks and even Armstrong’s Base network in both weekly and daily DEX volume.
