The core of this partnership involves SBI Ripple Asia issuing new tokens on this blockchain. These tokens will facilitate payments for a wide range of tourist services, including lodging, meals, and shopping.
Tobu Top Tours will play a crucial role in expanding the network of businesses accepting these new payment methods. They will also lead marketing efforts, potentially incorporating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to enhance customer engagement and offerings.
Expanding Beyond Tourism: A Broader Vision
While initially targeting the tourism sector, the ambitions for this blockchain-based payment system extend further.
